Community Youth Art Event
Look for signs of spring to emerge on storefronts all around you beginning Saturday, May 14, as Decaturs youth paint the town during our first annual Paint Decatur! event. A map of the artwork will be available at the festival.
Young artists have been encouraged to create their own visions of Springtime in Decatur using removable paints. The paintings will help to kick off the Decatur Arts Festival, and artists in different age brackets will be honored at an awards ceremony on the square on Saturday, May 28, at 10:30 am.
Paint Decatur! is sponsored by the Decatur Arts Alliance and the Decatur and Oakhurst Business Associations, and is a project of the Community Arts committee of the Decatur Arts Alliance. If you are interested in supporting more community art, let us know!

Clothesline Art Show of Childrens Artwork
Near the Community Bandstand
Visit the Clothesline Art Show featuring works from local children. Bring your work to add to the clothesline for all to see! Be sure to pick up your artwork before the festival ends on Sunday evening.
